London City Airport is getting more and more popular because of its convenience to the centre of town.  All of the other airports are at least 20 miles from the City Centre.  It is a single-runway airport, use by Short Take Off and Landing airliners, and mainly serves the financial districts of London. It is located on a former Docklands site, opposite the London Regatta Centre, in Newham East London.  City Airport flies to a number of British destinations along with flying to Ireland and Continental Europe.  London City Airport is easily accessible by bus from Stratford Station or via the London Docklands Light Rail to Royal Docks Station.
