Snibston Discovery Museum is a popular family day out destination in Leicestershire. It is situated on the former site of the historic Snibston Colliery and just approximately 16 minutes away from the East Midlands Airport. There are many attractions within the site, including the collier railway, interactive museum, Country Park, and a 40-hectare nature reserve. The museum houses five major galleries that ranges from technology, science, engineering, and transport. Snibston also hosts regular workshops and events.

The Galleries of Justice Museum is an award-winning attraction in Nottingham. It won the Gold Award in VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2014. The museum is located at The Lace Market and about 27-minute drive away from the East Midlands Airport. The museum features free exhibitions, including the Robin Hood exhibition since the legendary character is associated with the building's history. There are also audio and performance-led tours and a themed café inside the museum. If you prefer a different kind of adventure, then join their Terror Tours and Ghost Tours since the Justice Museum was said to be haunted. 

The National Space Centre is one of the leading attractions in the UK that is devoted to astronomy and space science. Derby Gaol has a very dark history – filled with stories about death, misery, and imprisonment. Because of its past, it has been considered as one of the most haunted places in Derby.
