St Marlen, located in Bernau Bei Berlin, is a wonderful building erected in Late Gothic Style that dominates the skyline of the town. Large parts of the defensive walls and wet moats of the Middle Ages are preserved. The defensive wall is supplemented by several lookout houses, the Pulvertum and a town gate.
