It has been a fort since ancient times. In 1631, the castle was reconstructed in the Baroque style. Today, it is a park and museum. The Baroque Armory built 1702-1712 houses an excellent collection of Franconian works of art, including world famous sculptures by Tilman Riemenschneider.

Wurtzburg Residence is a palace in Wurzburg, near Würzburg Railway. The Prince Bishops of Wurzburg resides in the Fortress Marienberg until the early eighteenth century. The residence was built in Baroque style, with a magnificent staircase. Other rooms in the Residence are built in the Neoclassical style or Imperial style. There is also a wonderful garden in the back of the palace. The English Garden is absolutely stunning.

Wurzburg Old Main Bridge , near Würzburg Railway was built in the 15th century to replace the destroyed Romanesque bridge that had dated from 1133. In two phases, beginning in 1730, the bridge was adorned with statues of saints and historically relevant figures. The Bridge shows similarities to the Charles Bridge in Prague.
