The Church of Madonna della Grotta is a completely built church located inside the aforementioned cave complex. An open air sanctuary is also featured. Both the church and the sanctuary are still operating.
The Rocca is a sanctuary built by the Normans in the 14th century. A site of archaeological excavations is located near the sanctuary. Findings at the site include bones of a prehistoric shark. The Fortino (Small Fort), a fort from the 16th century, is also located nearby.
