Chateau de Blois, translated as Castle of Blois is located in the city center. This was the residence of several kings and this is also the place where Joan of Arc went to be blessed before conquering Orleans. La Maison de la Magie Robert-Houdin or The Robert-Houdin House of Magic is located downtown Blois and is a museum of France. This is the only public European museum where collections of magic objects can be admired and in which such arts are performed.
