Sohpia, also known as Sohpia Antipolis is a technology park located near the Antibes and southwest of Nice, in France. A large part of Sohpia is situated in the Valbonne commune. Inside Sohpia there is Garbejaire, a residential community that lives in the park. The small city located within Sohpia is gorgeous and is like a replica of the charming traditional French towns. Among the companies that have headquarters in Sohpia there are included Air France, Atos, CSR plc, Fortinet, Intel, Rohm and Haas, Slice Factory and Wall Street Systems. Although Sohpia is not a typical town, you can visit the great attractions within it.

Top Attractions within Sohpia

Place du Palais is located in Nice, near Sohpia. You can visit Place du Palais downtown and admire not only the square itself, but also a building named Palais Rusca where the justice department of Nice is located. This is one of the most beautiful attractions in the area, as the square is full day and night with tourists.

Notre Dame de Nice is a Roman Catholic church that you can visit close to Sohpia, in the city center of Nice, on Avenue Jean Medecin. It was designed by Louis Lenormand and raised in the 19th century. This is the largest church in Nice, but it is not the cathedral of the city, even if it is build in the same style as many French cathedrals from other small towns.

Picasso Museum is an attraction you should not miss if you are in Sohpia. It is located in Antibes and hosts one of the greatest Picasso collections in the world. If you want to visit it, you will have to pay an entrance fee, but you will surely not regret it. You can see 44 drawings, 80 ceramics items and two sculptures, among many other works of art created by the talented Pablo Picasso.
