In 875, the city of Fecamp was mentioned as Fiscannum, in 990 as Fiscannus and in 1796 as Fisc, the name that was given back then to Valmont River. Pebble Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Fecamp, located in a wonderful natural area of the city. Benedictine Palace Museum is one of the largest museums in Fecamp. This is dedicated to religious art and inside it you can take great guided tours. Church of the Trinity is a very large and impressive church. You can visit it downtown Fecamp. It was raised in a Primitive Norman Gothic style and its construction lasted several decades, from 1175 to 1220. During the next centuries improvements were done to this beautiful church and in present it is still used.
