Des Brilliants is a villa where French sculptor Auguste Rodin lived. He is buried in its garden and since his death, his home transformed into a museum dedicated to his person and to his amazing works of art. Chateau de Meudon is located on a hill within the area of the city, being really close to Paris. Louis XIV acquired this great castle, but it was not used until Jerome Bonaparte, the younger brother of Napoleon, occupied it. In 1871, a fire destroyed an important part of this Meudon attraction and now what is left of it is used by the Observatoire de Paris - Meudon.
