Jardin des Plantes Rouen is a municipal botanical garden, located in Rouen, near Rouen Airport. The garden dates back to 1691, when Louis de Carel acquired forest land within which he built a walled garden and pavillion. Today, the garden contains over 5600 plant taxa, representing 600 species, with a notable collection of fuchsias, iris and rose garden. The garden has also got an orangery, a central greenhouse, a tropical greenhouse and the bust of god Pan.

Maritime, Fluvial and Harbour Museum of Rouen is located near Rouen Airport and is dedicated to the history of the port of Rouen, which is one of the greatest ports in France. Visitors can see trawler and barge motors, a fog warning bell which was formerly located in an estuary, and a reproduction of a radio cabin of a 1960s ship. There are also regular temporary exhibitions on a variety of topics, such as Rouen transporter bridge or the Vikings.

Place du Vieux Marche is located at the heart of Rouen, near Rouen Airport. In the centre of the square, tourists can still see the place where Joanne of Arc was burned on the stake. Near it, is the modern church of Saint Joan of Arc, a large, modern structure which dominates the cityscape. The form of the building represents an upturned Viking boat and fish shape.

Rouen and Rouen Airport is home to the French Grand Prix. Rouen hosted the race at the nearby Rouen les Essarts track sporadically between 1952 and 1968. Today, there are little remains beyond the public roads.
