In 1994, all the buildings around it were demolished, but this is still standing.

Florianturm or Florian Tower, called by the locals Florian, is the landmark of the city. This is a telecommunication tower. It is named like this in the honor of St. Florian, the patron of gardeners and because in 1959, when it was raised, it served as an attraction for a horticultural show. It has 219.6 meters and when it was constructed it was the highest building in Germany.

Botanischer Garten Rombergpark is an arboretum and a botanical garden that you can visit in Dortmund. It is located at 49b Am Rombergpark. It has an area of 65 hectares.
