Bilstein Castle is an amazing castle located in Lennestadt. It was built from 1202 to 1225, and was first mentioned in a 1225 document. Since 1927, the castle has also been a youth hostel. In 1978 the left wing was completely rebuilt and nowadays, it is open to the public. Visitors can take a tour of the castle and get a glimpse of the history and background of Lennestadt.
