Cordoba Cathedral

It has several pools and fountains. The Paseo de los Reyes is a walkway in the garden that has statues of the kings who lived in the Alcazar.

Roman Bridge

This beautiful bridge in Cordoba was built by the Romans, with a length of 22m and 16 arches. At one end of the bridge there is the Calahorra Tower, a defensive tower. At the other end is the Puerta del Puente. In the middle of the bridge, there is a small shrine and statue of St. Raphael, done by the sculptor Bernabe Gomez del Rio in 1651, where the devout burn candles.

Cordoba is known to have been the centre of Jewish life for many centuries. In the Jewish Quarter, there is a beautiful synagogue. This place is also famous for being the birthplace of the famous Maimonides, a great writer and philosopher.
