Being situated on the stylish Paseo del Prado it has some amazing work from artists like Goya, El Greco, Velázquez and Hieronymous Bosch. And as it is a such a large museum, it can take an age to get around so perhaps you should consider making 2 trips to the museum especially as Sunday is Free!

The Royal Palace' origin dates from the ninth century when the Muslim Kingdom of Toledo built a defence that was later used by the Kings of Castilla, which in the sixteenth century they built the Royal Palace.
