Nepi is a town and commune in Italy in the province of Viterbo, in the region Of Lazio. The town lies 30 km south-west from Civita Castellana. Nepi is known for its mineral springs, sold and bottled under the Acqua di Nepi brand throughout Italy. The location of Nepi was already occupied in the 8th century BC and neighbouring Pizzo in the Bronze Age. After the Social War it became a municipium. Nepi is a wonderful holiday destination, where tourists can visit the local attractions, enjoy a walk in one of the many parks or just take your time and relax in Nepi.

Borgia Castle is one of the most famous castles in Nepi. The Borgia castle is a reconstruction of an older feudal manor that dates back to the 15th century. The castle has large walls and four towers, out of which one is open to visitors. The palace has a large hall in a rectangular plan and two other smaller rooms which are sill well preserved.

Cathedral of the Assunta is a beautiful church located in Nepi. The church was built in 12th century over a pagan temple. In 1831, the church has been rebuilt after the French troops had set it on fire. Of the ancient structure the crypt remains, which includes the primitive pagan altar.

Nepi Town Hall is a beautiful 15th century building, designed by Antonio da Sangallo. The bottom part is made by stone and is embellished by a porch, while the upper part has amazing balcony with an original bell tower on the top. On the inside of the Town Hall there is a museum with archaeological founds of the local area.
