Santa Crestina Gherdeina is a Ladin commune in South Tyrol in northern Italy, located at about 30 km east of the city of Bolzano. According to the 2010 census, Santa Crestina Gherdeina has a population of 1900 residents, and an area of 32 square km. The coat of arms of Santa Crestina Gherdeina dates back to 1636. The coat of arms belonged to the family of Primus von Dosses, who organised a reflectory for the poor.
