Can I Pay for my Car Hire with a Debit Card?

Paying rental car via debit card UK banner

Yes. Some rental car companies in the UK, including Enterprise, Budget, Alamo, Sixt, Thrifty and Europcar accept major debit cards. However, keep in mind that conditions may still apply. Customers may not be able to rent certain classes of vehicle, such as premium and 4x4s  using a debit card, and they may be subject to additional online identification checks. Any customer who fails a credit check will not be allowed to rent.

Other suppliers require renters to present a valid major credit card. Avis and Hertz do not accept Electron or Debit Cards.

Our suppliers accept Credit Cards from major companies such as Mastercard and Visa. American Express and Diners are not generally accepted and may attract an administration charge – please apply locally for confirmation. Please email info@vroomvroomvroom.co.uk and our team will help you verify it within 1 business day.
