Yes. Some rental car companies in the UK accepts major debit cards. However, keep in mind that conditions may still apply. Customers may not be able to rent certain classes of vehicle, such as premium and 4x4s using a debit card, and they may be subject to additional online identification checks. The Credit or Debit card used for payment (or deposit) must be produced at time of rental, The deposit amount will be authorised on your credit card or debited from your debit card, whichever applicable, when you collect your hire car. If there are no additional charges that need to be paid for when you return the vehicle at the end of the Hire Period then the deposit value will be released to your credit card or refunded in full to your debit card.
