Duomo si San Cristoforo is another landmark from Barga that must not be missed. The duomo is at the top of the village. The Duomo is built in the 10th century and added over time size and an eclectic archtiectural style. The red marble offsets the sculptures and sets off the pulpit well. The choir has a large wood statue of St. Christopher said to be carved in 1000.

Garfagnana is known as the area around Barga. While driving to or from Barga, tourists can enjoy the spectacular scenery, the high mountains, the beautiful rivers, the lush forests and the rolling countryside. It is an area worth visiting.
